Founder / President

 

German's passion for youth soccer, combined with his professional leadership, will help Sherman Oaks Extreme become one of the best soccer clubs in the United States. German has over 20 years of soccer experience. The Salvadorian native has played with several clubs, including North Hollywood Jets, Cerritos Juventus, Zodiac and LA Salsa in Fullerton under Coach Octavio Zambrano. He was also part of the U15 Oylmpic Development Program (ODP) and played for the U20 Salvadorian National Team. German is a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "D" licensed coach and administrator. He has several years of successful experience coaching in both recreational and competitive soccer. He was also and Assistant Coach for Valley College Women's Soccer Team. German directs GOAL Soccer Camp, a growing and successful Youth Soccer Development program in Sherman Oaks, with a focus on helping youth players develop basic and advanced soccer skills.

German is married to Mariel and he is the father of two children Joao and Bella. Joao plays soccer for the BU12 S.O. Extreme.

Mariel is the club’s secretary and is responsible for meeting minutes, club correspondence and updating organizational directories. Mariel’s son Joao is a member of the S.O. Extreme BU10 team.

Director of Coaching

 

Marlon has an extensive and successful career as a youth soccer coach and administrator. Currently, Marlon is the director of coaching for St. Genevieve High School. He is a member of the Southern California Soccer Coaches Association and National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
