Tryouts -

 

1. Should I attend both tryout sessions for my age group? Yes.


2. How will I know if my child makes the team? Details will be explained at tryouts. We expect up to 2 teams in each age group for boys and up to 2 teams in each age group for girls. There are 8 tryout dates. We typically post the teams on our website shortly after tryouts are complete.

3. My child is a goalkeeper. Will there be any special tryouts for goalkeepers? Please let the coach know you are goalkeeper. Typically the goalkeepers will work with a goalkeeper trainer.

4. I have questions regarding tryout procedures or registration. Who do I contact? If you are a current Extreme SC player - please contact your team manager first. If you are a new player, please email our German Gonzalez at coachgerman@shermanoakssoccer.com or Marlon Archey at coacharchey@shermanoakssoccer.com

Registration Details-

1. If I pre-register online, do I still have to check-in at tryouts? Yes, we need to know you are there. Tryout Registration form WILL be posted after tryout dates are announced.

2. Can I register the day of tryouts? We will have extra registration forms at the check-in desk, but of course its best if you pre-register online. We cannot predict how many players will show up, so you may want to come early to avoid a line.

3. Why can’t I register online the day of tryouts? Online pre-registration deadline is midnight Friday the week of tryouts for each age group.


4. Do I have to fill out a new form/register for every session? No, but you do need to check-in!

5. Is there a fee for tryouts? Tryouts are free. Tryouts are a great opportunity to check-out the Extreme SC training program and coaching staff.


6. Is this registration form for the season? No, this is only a registration for tryouts.


I missed tryouts. Can I still play?

 

1. If you missed tryouts, please go online and complete the tryout registration so we have your contact information. We will pass this along to the correct coaches. You can also contact one of our Directors to request a tryout.
